this is a pic of me

My name is Luisa, and this is my Digital Arts and Humanities Portfolio.

About me:

My name is Luisa Cichowski (she/her). I’m a multi-disciplinary artist and creative problem solver who cares about art, intricacy, nuance, and playfulness. I orient my work towards social justice and environmental causes that matter to me, in order to create a more livable (and beautiful) world for all.

What does Digital Arts and Humanities mean?

Digital Arts and Humanities is an interdisciplinary field of study centering digital and quantitative tools in the analysis and creation of art and humanistic work.

What does this discipline mean to me?

I first encountered Digital Arts and Humanities as a student at Carleton College, where I minored in the discipline. I’ve created this portfolio as an archive of my DGAH projects at Carleton. As a creative individual and artist, I value the way in which DGAH has given me the digital tools to make my work more interactive, engaging, openly accessible, and playful.

My DGAH skills:
– Wordpress, Wix, Weebly
– ArcGIS and ArcGIS Storymapping
– Logic Pro X
– Thinglink
– Omeka

Peruse this portfolio site to learn more about my DGAH experiences and projects.
